Library Rules

Do’s

  1. Maintain silence & discipline.
  2. Always come to the library with a notebook & a pen.
  3. Students can borrow two books from the higher library (Grade 7 & 8 for 7 days, Grade 9 to 12 for 15 days).
  4. Books are issued & returned only during Library periods.
  5. Return books on time.
  6. Treat the books & other materials with care.
  7. Be respectful & considerate to everyone in the Library (Staff & Students).
  8. Ask for help if you can’t find a particular book.
  9. ID card is required for all Library transactions.
  10. In case a student loses or damages a book, they will either pay double the price of the lost book or replace it.

Don’ts

  1. Do not enter the Library with a school bag, eatables or water bottle.
  2. Do not tear, fold, or remove any pages from books, newspapers or magazines.
  3. Do not put any mark, underline or highlight with a pen or pencil on any Library book.
  4. Do not misplace a book deliberately, nor make it difficult to locate.
  5. Do not borrow reference books from the Library; refer to them only in the Library.
  6. Do not run — just walk.
  7. Do not access the internet in the Library without the Librarian’s permission.
  8. Do not use the computer for gaming purposes.
  9. Do not print without permission.
  10. Do not remove furniture from its proper place.
